The platform fee

A small fee when money moves — and it shrinks as you grow.

On top of your plan, CivVora takes a percentage of money processed through the platform — dues, ticket sales, donations, and vendor payments. Free events are never charged. Stripe's own processing (~2.9% + 30¢) is passed through at cost.

Can I change plans anytime?+
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from Settings whenever you like — your data, members, and history stay exactly where they are.
What is the platform fee?+
A small percentage CivVora takes when money moves through the platform — dues, ticket sales, donations, vendor payments. It drops as you move up a tier: 2% on Community, 1.5% on Essentials, 1% on Organization and Enterprise. Free events are never charged.
What about nonprofits?+
Registered 501(c)(3)s get the platform fee waived on donations year-round. Send us your determination letter and it's on within a day.
How does Stripe work?+
You connect your own Stripe account. Funds go directly to your bank — we never hold your money. Stripe charges its own processing (~2.9% + 30¢); the CivVora platform fee for your tier is charged separately.
What about taxes?+
CivVora handles sales tax on tickets and dues where required, with rates you set per state/country. We don't collect tax for you, but we make sure your reports balance.
What happens if I want to leave?+
One click. CSV of everything. We'll also help you migrate to whatever you're going to. We mean it about your data being yours.
